Grade 4 – Topics We Cover

1. Numbers and Place Value
Understanding numbers up to 7 digits, number names, place value, expanded form, comparing and ordering numbers, skip counting, rounding numbers, and understanding the Indian place value system.
2. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
Performing the four basic operations with larger numbers, developing mental calculation strategies, estimation, understanding properties of operations, and solving multi-step and real-life problems.
3. Factors and Multiples
Understanding factors and multiples, prime and composite numbers, divisibility rules, prime factorisation, common factors and multiples, and introductory concepts of HCF and LCM.
4. Fractions and Decimals
